It's A Garden Party!
Celebrating the first full day of summer with a garden party. Flowers, flowers and more flowers was the theme of this fun, seasonal party. While residents enjoyed a summer inspired dinner they sipped on a variety of refreshing cocktails and tapped their toes to the music of Everett Yates.
Viva Las Vegas at Sunridge Village!
You don’t have to travel to Vegas to see if lady luck is on your side! From Black Jack, Roulette, and Texas Hold'em , to BINGO, Money Wheel and more, residents and their guests played them all at our 18th annual Casino night.
Residents and guests placed their bets and won big. We aren't bluffing when we said the prizes were amazing this year. Just under $3,000 in prizes and gift cards were handed out. Even those who had no chips left still had a chance to win a consolation prizes to great restaurants.
Traveling Back to the 1950's!
Rocking Around the Clock at Sunridge Village was a night for carefree fun. Remembering Poodle skirts, slicked back hair, bobby socks, saddle shoes and so much more of the 1950's. The dining room turned into a rock and roll diner complete with a Sock Hop menu. Residents dressed in the 50's attire and sang along with our featured musical guests, Doug Faulker and Dave Webber. We all enjoyed the time travel back to the exuberance of the 1950's.
Christmas by Candlelight!
Enjoining an enchanting evening in an atmosphere of the winter woods, that is how one would describe the resident Christmas party.
Seasons Greetings at Sunridge Village!
Residents, family and friends celebrate a night of Christmas, featuring a live nativity, carolers, and a cocoa bar.
Celebrating Veteran's Day!
Honoring and Remembering Our Veteran's!
When asked what time of year is your favorite time, many answer with “Christmas”, “Easter” “Thanksgiving”. While those are some of our favorite times as well, we here at Sunridge also consider “Veteran’s Day” a favorite day.
We honor this day and our nation’s veterans with a formal ceremony and breakfast. Our guest speaker, Chief Master Sergeant Stephen J. Mallette, from Offutt Air Force Base gave a very compelling speech. Pastor Lynn Parsons, from St Michaels Church led the gathering in a prayer before we enjoyed a delicious brunch. The beautiful music was provided by Offutt Air Force Freedom Voices.
Veteran’s Day continues to be one of the most important events that we celebrate here at Sunridge Village, for without reflection and recollection of our past, and appreciation for the present, we would not have the freedoms Americans live with every day.
To every veteran, and every veteran’s loved one, Sunridge Village thanks you deeply.
A Bewitching Afternoon
A Bewitching Good Time!
With a wave of a "magic" wand, the feel of Halloween enchantment descended on Sunridge Village. The bewitching atmosphere of floating hats and brooms, added to a mesmerizing hour of fun at our Witch's Brew. Residents dressed in their Halloween best as they paraded around the dining room. A fashion show in some sense for magic's', well dressed witches.
No tricks here, the residents enjoyed a ghoulishly delightful lunch served with green slime punch. The captivating afternoon conjured up a room of laughter and fun, as we are all children at heart during Halloween.
